Chelsea joined Grace Community School in 2017. She teaches ninth grade English and debate. Chelsea is a 2005 Graduate of Grace where she placed at State-level speech and debate competitions and was the 2005 TAPPS Fine Arts Student of the Year. Chelsea attended Baylor University where she studied communication, English, history, and political science and graduated in 2009 from Baylor University’s Honors College with a University Scholars degree. She is currently working on her masters in communication from Stephen F. Austin State University. After college, she served as the East Texas deputy regional director for U.S. Senator John Cornyn. She then felt a calling toward Christian education, first serving as the director of development for the Honors College at Baylor University and most recently as a college advisor at All Saints Episcopal School. She is a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, and in her spare time, Chelsea enjoys reading, playing board games with family, watching nerdy movies, and traveling.
