Educating from a Christian Worldview
We believe that international students bring to our school community a richness of culture that enhances the learning experience of all. Also, through the education of international students, the influence of a Christ-centered education is spread throughout the world and among different cultures. Therefore, we welcome students who meet our admissions qualifications from around the world.
Grace Community School is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. Please note that I-20’s can only be legally issued once the student and family have completed the admissions process and the student has been accepted to the school.

Why Grace?
“In my mother’s opinion, a Christian school is usually a better choice than the non-Christian school, because Christian schools teach the Bible which is the word of God and too, because students are usually more friendly. Reliable evidence has shown that most American high schools have already stopped teaching the Bible, and the Bible is really important to my family.”

Why Grace for Our Child?
“As time goes on, we feel that the children are a scrabbling land between we- Christians and Satan. A place where God is with is a nice place, a school where God is with is a good school. Now that Ms. Emily, the international teacher of Grace, interviewed our son- Henry he was deeply touched. We saw they were talking a long time, and praying and later Henry said that his spiritual perspective was updated. Then Henry and we parents made our almost the most important decision this decade.”
By Carrie, Chinese mother of Henry Zhang, Class of 2022

Want to host an international student?
Host Families
Host families are needed to house students yearly at Grace Community School. The GCS International Program staff takes great care to connect potential host families with international students who share similar interests and preferences. Being a host family is a great way to learn about the culture of the student while opening your home to a child navigating high school far from their native country. If you would like to consider being a host family, please contact Kinsey Featherston, International Student Program Coordinator, by email at kinsey.featherston@gracetyler.org.
