Cougars Move District Record to 3-1

The Cougars moved their district record to 3-1 with a home win over Bishop Dunne on Tuesday (68-58) and a road victory over Coram Deo (72-34) on Friday. On Tuesday, Doak Porter (19), Caden Swaim (13), and Peyton Kelly (10) led the Cougars in scoring while Ethan Roach, Brinton Loftis, Wilson Smith, and McCade Stinson contributed defense, rebounding, and playmaking to help secure the win. On Friday, the Cougars had four players in double figures and ten players scored in the game to secure a big win on the road. Porter (12), Swaim (12), Andrew Dancy (11), and Daniel Shankle (11) led the team in scoring. Jack Crawford, Dustin Dossey, Hank Gilmore, Peyton Kelly, Brinton Loftis, Ethan Roach, and Wilson Smith all made numerous contributions in the victory.  

Our JV White team secured a big victory over Bishop Dunne on Tuesday and our JV Blue pounded Coram Deo on Friday. Our JV teams continue to show great growth and development on the season.  

This week the Cougars will travel to Grapevine Faith on Thursday for games at 4:30, 5:45, and 7:30 and will host Cristo Rey Varsity on Saturday at 12:30. We hope all Grace fans will come out and support the Cougars as they continue to pursue the district championship!
