The Grace Approach to Education
A primary goal of Grace is to provide an outstanding academic education, taught from a biblical worldview. Grace’s educational product is second to none. Our teachers teach and prepare our children thoroughly – not only for a particular test, or for college admission, but for life.
Our faculty consists of gifted teachers of the highest order. Our teachers have a tremendous grasp of the subjects they teach. They are constantly seeking to expand and refine their knowledge, and to communicate those ideas to our students. They are dedicated to guiding the academic lives of our students, and equipping them with the tools they need to become all they were created to be.
Grace teachers have created a curriculum of core subjects, a curriculum highly valued by America’s top colleges and universities. Courses are taught in a traditional classroom setting featuring academic continuity, reading through phonics, biblical training, and science and humanities that are Christ-based.
The courses are demanding and intellectual rigor is required. At the same time, our teachers understand that each child is important and crafted lovingly by their God to accomplish great things. Therefore, teachers treat each child with respect and concern. They are available to help students individually along the way, giving them the support they need to succeed.
As interested as our teachers are in teaching their respective subjects, however, they are passionate about teaching life. Teachers minister to our students, pray with them, and help hold them accountable. Teachers sponsor clubs, lead trips, and coach teams. Students are challenged and stretched beyond their current intellectual and spiritual capacities, and tremendous growth is the inevitable result.
We are a relationship-based school. Our teachers model Christ to our students and create long-term mentoring friendships that often go well beyond the four walls of the classroom and their years at Grace.
