2023 TISCA RESULTS

Last Friday and Saturday, (November 17-18), theCougar swimmers traveled to Texarkana to compete against 20 of the best 4A, 5A, & 6A public schools inTexas at the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association, (TISCA) Invitational. The girls swam extremely well placing both relays in finals. Emalee Dupuis (12), finaled in both of her individual events, the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Breaststroke. Leah Dupuis (9), also finaled in the 100 Breaststroke. On the boys side, Leonardo Rubio finaled in both of his individual events, the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Butterfly. A little over half of the swims achieved season best times and we saw some great competition.

Emalee Dupuis (12): 200 Individual Medley— 11th*, 100 Breaststroke—12th*

Sidney Boone (12): 100 Freestyle—38th, 50 Freestyle— 44th

Jenna Wortham (11): 100 Freestyle–36th, 50 Freestyle–43rd

Leah Dupuis (9): 100 Breaststroke–16th*, 100 Freestyle–26th

200 Medley Relay A— 13th (Wortham, L. Dupuis, E. Dupuis, S.Boone)

200 Freestyle Relay A—15th (L. Dupuis, E. Dupuis, J. Wortham, S. Boone)

Boys Individual Results:

Leonardo Rubio (10): 200 Individual Medley—12th*, 100 Butterfly—14th*

Mateo Agudelo (9): 50 Freestyle—45th*, 100 Backstroke—31st*

Daniel Minick (9): 100 Butterfly—21st*, 100 Backstroke–26th*  

Micah Wilson (9): 50 Freestyle–61st

Boys Relay Results:

200 Medley Relay A: 22nd* (Agudelo, Minick, Rubio, Wilson)

200 Freestyle Relay A : 20th (Rubio, Minick, Agudelo, Wilson)

Cougar’s next swim meet will be the Whitehouse Christmas Relays on Friday, December 9th at East Texas Aquatics.
