Laura has worked as a Junior High and High School Teacher since 2008, teaching English, Latin, Humanities, Creative Writing, Speech, and Psychology. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, a master’s degree in humanities from the University of Dallas, and a master’s degree in Composition from Liberty University. She also taught dual credit English, General Psychology, and Intro to Humanities for several years and has provided one-on-one ACT prep for local high school students since 2012. Laura has been married to Tom since 1999. They have three daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. Laura enjoys living in the country and homesteading with her family. She is an active member of Sylvania Church, serving in the children’s ministry and chairing the Women’s Council.
