Grace High School Swim Team Opens Season with Strong Performance

September 8, 2025 – The Grace High School swim team kicked off their 2025–2026 season this past Saturday at East Texas Aquatics in a time trial meet against Whitehouse. Only individual events were contested, allowing each swimmer to compete in up to four races. After a summer of hard training, the results were clear: 22 personal bests out of 52 total swims—an impressive and unexpected accomplishment for the very first meet of the season.

Both the boys’ and girls’ teams led the overall team scores, setting the tone for what looks to be a very promising season. It was an exciting morning for swimmers and their families alike, with strong showings across the board.

The next meet for the Cougar swimmers will be this Thursday at the TISD Aquatics Center on Earl Campbell Blvd. Warm-ups begin at 4:15 and the meet starts at 5:15. Hope we see a big crowd cheering our swimmers on to victory. GLORY TO THE LORD!!
