Grace JH Football Shows Grit in Matchup Against All Saints

October 6, 2025 – The Junior High Grace Cougars may have fallen to All Saints by a score of 34–8 last week, but the team demonstrated heart, determination, and flashes of big-time playmaking that promise exciting things ahead.

One of the game’s highlights came when quarterback Samuel Moore connected with Liam Sheppard on a spectacular 40-yard touchdown pass, igniting energy on the Cougars’ sideline. Moore continued the momentum on the next play, finding Josiah Goodman for a successful two-point conversion. The drive showcased the potential and rhythm developing within the Cougars’ offense.

Special teams also delivered key contributions, with Ben Castle recovering a crucial onside kick that gave Grace another opportunity to capitalize on their growing momentum.

Although the scoreboard did not reflect the Cougars’ effort, the team battled until the final whistle, gaining valuable experience and confidence to carry into the rest of the season.

Grace will return to their home field on Tuesday, October 7, at 5:00 p.m. to take on Bishop Gorman. With their steady growth, strong leadership, and emerging playmakers, the Cougars are eager to defend their home turf and translate their hard work into results.
