Grace Volleyball Takes Commanding Lead in District Standings

October 13, 2025 – The Grace Community School Varsity Volleyball team had a standout week on the road, traveling to both Dallas and Austin for key district matchups. On Tuesday, the team faced Cristo Rey in Dallas, securing another strong district win. Elizabeth and Jaci led the team in kills, while Dani paced the team in service aces. Setter Macy delivered a career-high performance with 36 assists and contributed 4 kills.

The momentum continued Thursday night as the team traveled to Austin for a highly anticipated match against Regents in a battle for first place in the district. Grace rose to the occasion, defeating Regents and claiming the top spot in the district standings. Elizabeth had an outstanding performance with 8 service aces, while Jaci and Lexi led the offensive attack in kills. Macy surpassed her own record from earlier in the week, setting a new career high with 38 assists and adding another 4 kills to her stat line.

The team, demonstrating both depth and resilience, continues to perform at a high level as they move deeper into district play.
