Cougars MS Defense Leads the Way in Exciting Game Against Shelbyville

November 3, 2025 – The Grace Cougars took the field with determination last week, facing a strong Shelbyville Dragons team. Though the final score ended 10–0 in favor of Shelbyville, the Cougars showed tremendous grit and teamwork throughout the game.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was Grace’s tackling. From start to finish, the Cougars defense flew to the ball and made solid stops against a physical Shelbyville offense. The effort and discipline on defense kept the game close and demonstrated how much the team has grown this season.

Even in defeat, the Cougars showed their trademark spirit — playing hard until the final whistle, encouraging one another, and giving their fans plenty to cheer about.

This week marks the final week of middle school football, with two games on Thursday at Grace. The 7th-grade team kicks off at 5:00 p.m., followed by the 8th-grade team at 6:00 p.m.. Come out and support our Cougars as they finish the season strong!
