Full Throttle in the Water: Grace Community Junior High Swimmers Bring the Heat in the Pool

December 1, 2025 – Our Grace Community Junior High swimmers delivered an energetic performance at Grace Middle School Meet #3 on November 18, 2025, at East Texas Aquatics! Teams in attendance were Hubbard Middle School, Moore Middle School, Tyler Rose Aquatic
Club, Three Lakes Middle School, Bishop Gorman Middle School, Brook Hill Junior
High, Bridwell Middle School, Kings Academy Junior High, and Caldwell Middle School.
Despite being one of the smallest teams on deck, the Cougars proved that heart,
discipline, and teamwork can outshine roster size.

Leading the way for the girls were Hannah Jenks and Lydia Martinez with 1st place
finishes in both their individual events, and Elizabeth Russell with 2nd place
finishes in both of her events, contributing big points for our girls team and overall
effort. We welcomed Ona Forman to the team and in a short time showed us she was
ready to deliver at her first swim meet ever! Ben Castle, Christopher Allagaier, and
William Martin stepped onto the blocks hungry, determined and ready to fight for every
inch of the water not only in their individual events, but in the team mixed relays, helping
with overall points for Grace!

The girls’ team captured 1st place, the boys’ team placed 5th, resulting in a
combined 2nd place overall win, a remarkable accomplishment against such
deep and competitive fields. All of our swimmers had personal bests, and looking
forward to their energy at the Christmas Classic on December 6th at SMU!
