JV Soccer Shuts Out Tyler Heat to Close Non-District Play

December 23, 2025 – The Grace Community School JV boys soccer team wrapped up non-district play in strong fashion with a 4-0 shutout of Tyler Heat.

Cayden Palacios recorded his first career hat trick, scoring three goals with assists from Bryce Myrick, Cullen Sieber and Aaron Sepulveda. Myrick also assisted Eli Murphy for his first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Hutch Osteen anchored the defense, recording his second clean sheet of the year.

Palacios was named MVP, while Ethan Foreman earned Unsung Hero recognition. Aidan Morales and Titan Weibi shared the Coaches Choice honor.

Both JV and Varsity teams will return from Christmas break to resume practice on Monday, Jan. 5, as the Cougars prepare to host Cristo Rey in their first district match on Friday, Jan. 9, with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
