Seventh-Grade Lady Cougars Stay Perfect with Win Over Troup

December 23, 2025 – The Grace Community School seventh-grade girls basketball team remained unbeaten Thursday night, edging Troup 20-17 in a hard-fought, four-quarter battle.

The Lady Cougars relied on balanced contributions throughout the game, with every possession proving critical in the close win. Katherine Proctor led the scoring with nine points, followed by Stella Ramirez with five. Hannah Jenks, Emma Hird and Annakate Negem each added two points.

The victory pushed Grace’s record to 10-0 heading into the Christmas break. The Lady Cougars will open the new year at home, hosting Tyler Heat on Jan. 5 at 4 p.m.
