Seventh-Grade Girls Basketball Continues Unbeaten Run

February 2, 2026 – The Lady Cougars opened the stretch with a convincing 37-7 win over Murchison at home. Grace jumped out early and never slowed, using depth and teamwork to control the game from start to finish. Hannah Jenks and Stella Ramirez led the scoring with eight points each, while Kathrine Proctor added seven. Summer Schultz chipped in four points, Bristol Rains and Ellie Gillen scored three apiece, and Claire Foreman and Emma Hird each added two.

Grace followed that performance with a hard-fought 35-20 win against King’s Academy at First Christian in Tyler. In a physical contest, the Lady Cougars showed poise and composure, once again relying on balanced scoring. Ramirez paced the team with eight points, Proctor added seven, and Jenks and Gillen each finished with six. Foreman contributed four points, while Hird and Rains rounded out the scoring with two points each.

With the two victories, the Lady Cougars improved to 21-0 on the season with one game remaining. Grace will travel to Kaufman on Monday to face Wildfire Homeschool Association at 4:30 p.m., looking to close out an outstanding undefeated season.
