Varsity Boys Soccer Prepares for District Play-In After Tough Week

February 9, 2026 – Grace dropped two district matches last week, falling 2-1 to Bishop Dunne and 3-1 to Brentwood. In the loss to Bishop Dunne, captain and midfielder Logan Trump scored the Cougars’ lone goal. Freshman forward Titan Weibi found the net against Brentwood, recording his first career district goal.
Despite the setbacks, Grace finished district play with a 2-4 record, earning fifth place, and closed the regular season with a 6-5 overall mark.
The Cougars now turn their attention to a district play-in game Monday, Feb. 9, traveling to face fourth-ranked Bishop Dunne with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The winner advances to the district semifinal in Round Rock, while the loser’s season comes to an end.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Cougars as they battle for a spot in the next round.
