Lady Cougars Soccer Sweeps District Schedule, Earns Top Seed

February 9, 2026 – Grace capped the district regular season with three shutout victories, defeating Cristo Rey 12-0 on Monday, Bishop Dunne 9-0 on Wednesday and Austin Brentwood 9-0 to close the week.

Scoring for the Lady Cougars was led by Cesa Sabillon and Addison Eli with seven goals each, followed by Elle Durham with six and Kate Herod with four. Harper Miller added three goals, while Caroline Burkett, Ella Herrin and Trinity Shultz also found the net.

Assists were distributed across the lineup, with Durham recording six, Eli five and Miller four. Herrin added three assists, Maggie Gillen and Bella Wallace had two apiece, and Sabillon, Herod and Burkett each recorded one.

Grace’s defense was equally impressive, holding opponents scoreless in all three matches. The Lady Cougars have allowed only two goals throughout the entire district season. The defensive unit includes Julia Feliciano, Maggie Gillen, Pryce Bowler, Reagan Tutt, Riley Klofenstine, Elle Durham, Addison Eli and goalkeeper Camille Moser.

The Lady Cougars finished district play with a perfect 6-0 record, scoring 51 goals while conceding just two. Grace will enter the district tournament as the top seed and receive a bye to the district semifinals, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 12, at noon in Round Rock. They will face the winner of Tuesday’s Bishop Dunne vs. Hyde Park matchup.
