Cougar Golf Earns Runner-Up Finish at Brook Hill Spring Invitational

April 13, 2026 – The Grace varsity boys and girls golf teams competed Monday, March 30, in the Brook Hill Spring Invitational at Eagles Bluff Golf Course.

Reid Habermehl tied for first place with a 3-under-par 69, ultimately earning second-place medalist honors after a scorecard playoff. The Grace A team finished second overall with a team score of 308.

Team members for the A squad included Habermehl, Mac Pillsbury, David Wallace, Jay Pillsbury and Wyatt Buchanan.

The B team gained valuable tournament experience as Lincoln Estes, Brock Sieber, Josiah King, Tristan Hopson and Roan Thompson continued to develop through competition.

On the girls side, Rebecca Dai and Lydia Diana also turned in strong performances.

The Cougars will return to action Monday, April 13, when they travel to Plano to compete in the Green Jacket Invitational at The Traditions Course at Watters Creek.
