Grace Football Wins Shootout Over New Boston, 55-48, for Fleet’s First Win as Head Coach

September 21, 2026 – Grace Community School’s varsity football team held off New Boston in a 55-48 shootout, securing head coach Tyler Fleet’s first win at the helm.

Slade Etheredge had a big night through the air, completing 17 passes for 249 yards, and Christian Henry led the receiving corps with seven catches for 86 yards. Bradon Alexander added 96 rushing yards on the ground.

On defense, Bruhn Henry led the Cougars with 12 total tackles, including seven solo stops, and Josh Anderson added 11 total tackles with six solo.

The Cougars will look to keep the momentum going Friday when they travel to face Shelbyville.
