October 26, 2026 – Grace Community School’s varsity swim team had eight swimmers drop time in their events at the Dragon Invitational in Nacogdoches over the weekend.

The swimmers who posted personal bests were seniors Daniel Minick, Mateo Agudelo, Micah Barry and Micah Wilson, juniors Ava Green, Audrey Green and Sam Doyle, and sophomore Isaac Stephenson. Minick is a team captain, and Agudelo serves as team chaplain.

Every Cougar contributed to the team’s effort, working hard in the pool and encouraging teammates from the deck.

“The Cougars continue to build momentum, proving that success is measured not only by faster times but also by the character, commitment, and camaraderie they bring to the team,” said Brynn Steele, head coach.
