The Cheer Squad would like to say “Thank You” to everyone that attended and participated in the Homecoming Pep Rally! Thank you to all the faculty members that participated in Spirit Door Wars and the pep rally game! Congratulations to Mrs. Fedell for winning Spirit Door Wars, Coach Rad on winning the pep rally game, and Seniors for winning the Spirit Stick! Next pep rally will be Texas theme on Friday, November 9th.

Varsity Cheer Coach & Pom Squad Director

Tara attended Tyler Junior College where she was a member of the Apache Belles. With the Apache Belles, she traveled and performed in New York, Hawaii and China. Tara is beginning her 12th year as the Pom Squad Director and 7th year as the Varsity Cheer Coach. Tara also served as the Cougarette Director from 2015-2018. Tara has taught and assisted classes at Dance-N-Drill for the past 18 years. Tara and her husband, Justin Hargrove (Grace Graduate Class of 2000), have been married 12 years. They attend Green Acres Baptist Church and are the proud parents of two Toy Australian Shepherds, Murphy and Rowdy. Tara & Justin are excited to begin their 3rd season of Kona Ice. They have thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and are looking forward to a great season. Go Cougars!

Jaycie Wilson

Assistant Cheer Coach

Jaycie graduated from Grace Community High School in 2017. She was on the Varsity Cheer Squad her sophomore, junior and senior year. Jaycie served as Co-Captain her junior year and Head Captain her senior year. She is currently a student at The University of Texas at Tyler, majoring in kinesiology with a specialization in Pre Physical Therapy. Jaycie grew up taking classes at Gym Tyler Gymnastics and now teaches tumbling and gymnastics at the gym. She is excited to begin her 1st year coaching at Grace as the Assistant Cheer Coach.
