Big 2nd Half Propels Cougars Over Spring Hill
| The JV Football Team took on Spring Hill in what was a tail of two halves. In the first half, the JV Cougs struggled to put points on the board, and the defense had a hard time adjusting to a new offense. However, in the second half, the JV Cougs exploded by putting up 21-unanswered points, and the defense shut them out! The offense was ignited by McCade Stinson connecting with Doak Porter on an out’n’up, and then, the offensive line dominated helping Justus McQuay find the endzone on two occasions. Defensively, Wyatt Tanksley was consistently in the backfield, as he led the team in tackles. Next week, October 6th, the JV Football Team takes on White Oak at home – GO COUGS!! |
