Cougar Golf Advances to Regionals With Runner-Up District Finish

May 4, 2026 – The Grace varsity boys and girls golf teams competed Monday, April 27, at the District Golf Tournament held at Eagles Bluff Golf Course.

Both the boys and girls teams finished in second place overall, earning advancement to the TAPPS regional tournament scheduled for May 4-5 at Hawk’s Creek Golf Course in Fort Worth.

Grace also earned multiple medalist honors. Reid Habermehl finished second overall to claim second-place medalist honors, while David Wallace placed 10th. On the girls side, Rebecca Dai earned sixth-place medalist honors.

The Cougars will compete at regionals for a chance to advance to the TAPPS state tournament.
