Cougar Swimmers Impress in Second Meet of the Season

September 15, 2025 – The Grace Community School swim team made a powerful statement at their second meet of the season, held Thursday at the Tyler ISD Aquatic Center. Competing against strong teams from Legacy High School and Nacogdoches High School, the Cougars delivered a performance full of energy, focus, and fast swims.
Despite being early in the season, Grace swimmers recorded best times in 23 out of 31 events, a remarkable indicator of the team’s hard work and progress. Three of the four relays also posted best times, a strong sign of the team’s depth and cohesion.
Leading the way for the girls were Ella Buess and Natalie Jenks, both of whom delivered high-scoring performances across multiple events. On the boys’ side, Will Means and Daniel Minick set the pace for Grace, contributing valuable points and demonstrating leadership in the pool.
Coaches and fans praised the team’s energy, discipline, and early-season form—suggesting that the Cougars are on track for a strong year as they prepare for TISCA, Regionals, and State.
