Cougar Tennis Overcomes Adversity

The varsity tennis team had a roller coaster of a week! They had been training since August for the TAPPS Team Tennis Championship that was scheduled for last week, but unfortunately the tournament had to be canceled due to incoming inclement weather.  The team had a choice to make; be upset, angry, or bitter over circumstances they cannot control or move forward with GRACE, forgiveness, and acceptance. I am proud of the decision they made to live out grace and trust that we will have another opportunity to play, which we did!  Vanguard College Preparatory School was scheduled to play in the same tournament and was willing to meet up with us for a dual match. The team competed well and finished in tie with an overall match score of 8-8.  Congratulations to the following players for their wins last week!  It was a good week to be a part of Cougar Tennis!
