Cougars Basketball Off to a Great Start

The MS Boys 7th and 8th grade both went to 2-0 on the season on November 14th with wins over Bishop Gorman. The 7th grade dominated from start to finish in a 49-7 win. Coleman Swaim with 17 points and Braydon Alexander with 12 points lead a balance scoring attack with eight players scoring in the game. We saw improvement in the half court scoring several buckets out of our offensive set.The 8th grade game was nip and tuck. The Cougars trailed 19-20 at halftIme.The Cougars came out hot against the Crusaders in the third quarter outscoring them 16-7 and never trailed again. Aaron Vidrine lead Grace in scoring with 20 points. Jay Pillsbury was huge on both sides of the court scoring 13 points and playing great defense.The coaching staff is very proud of how hard our boys are playing and love to see the improvement everyday in practice.
