Cougars Defeat Coram Deo in Key Match
| Last week was a rollercoaster for the Boys’ Soccer team. They lost at Legacy Christian 0-4, they won over Coram Deo 3-1 on Senior night, and lost @Coram Deo on penalty kicks 4-5 after a 1-1 draw. Their record stands at 16-7-1 overall and 4-5 in district. Playing undefeated Legacy Christian was a challenging event on Monday night. The boys bounced back with a win on Thursday and won versus Coram Deo. Our four seniors were honored and it was nice to earn a win for them. Senior forward Caleb Carmack scored two goals and the third goal was an own goal. The second game at Coram Deo saw junior midfielder Daniel Kucheruk score the only goal of regulation. The opponent made it 1-1 and sent the game into penalty kicks. The Cougars came out short in the end and the PK scorers were: Caleb Carmack, Carter Eitel, Daniel Kucheruk, and Tre Bowie. (TENTATIVE) The game on Tuesday may move to Thursday 2/16…we will know with certainty before the end of the day on Monday!This week the boys soccer team will host Bishop Dunne on Tuesday 2/14 at 7pm and also will see at home All Saints on Thursday 2/16 at 630pm.Come out and support your Cougars!! |
