Cougars End Season on a High Note

The Grace Jr High Football team finished on a high note beating Brook Hill 28-14. Beating the cross town rival is always great but my favorite part is the enthusiasm, teamwork, effort, and improvement this team has shown throughout the season. (Brook Hill beat us in September 40-18). This group of young men (both 7th and 8th graders) have been such a blast to coach. I always tell my/our boys “I have the best job in the world” because of the kids that attend Grace and the tremendous support we receive from our families and community. This concludes our season with the blue team going 4-2 and the white team going 3-4 (after going winless last year). What a great Jr High football season it has been and I can’t wait to see these groups continue to improve as they go into 8th and 9th grades. The future is bright for Cougar football! I’m so proud of our Cougars!
