Cougars Go 1-2 on Week, Prepare for Grace Prep Matchup

April 13, 2026 – The Grace Cougars went 1-2 on the week, earning a split against Brentwood Christian and dropping a district contest to Brook Hill.

Slade Etheredge led the Cougars on both sides of the game, earning the win on the mound and pacing the team offensively. Etheredge finished the week with a team-high in hits and added a home run at the plate.

Grace will continue district play this week with a matchup against Grace Prep on Tuesday at Railroader Stadium in Cleburne. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. The Cougars will then return home Friday for a 6 p.m. game.

Senior Night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, when the Cougars host Brook Hill at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Cougars as they close out the regular season.
