Heather came to Grace as a Kindergarten teacher in 2020. She is currently serving in Jr. Kindergarten as an Instructional Aide. Prior to Grace, she taught 1st and 5th grades at Cumberland Academy for 7 years followed by 2 years of teaching Art and Music at Hand-in-Hand preschool. She earned her B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University and is currently earning her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Pensacola Christian College. She and her husband Brandon have three children and two grandchildren. She and her family attend Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, going on nature walks, and singing.
