GCS Cheer Supports Remembrance Run at Children’s Park of Tyler

May 4, 2026 – The Grace Community School varsity cheer team participated in the Remembrance Run 5K at The Children’s Park of Tyler, joining community members in an event dedicated to honoring loved ones who have passed away.

The Children’s Park exists to support families mourning the loss of a child by providing comfort and free bereavement care as they process grief and find hope.

Participants ran and walked in memory of loved ones, many carrying photographs or displaying memorial signs along the course. This year’s event included more than 550 participants and raised funds to help The Children’s Park continue its mission of serving grieving families.

Grace cheerleaders were grateful for the opportunity to support the event and be part of a powerful reminder of the importance of encouragement, community and showing up for others.
