Grace Competes Well at TAPPS Team State Tournament

The varsity tennis team competed in the TAPPS Team Tennis State Tournament on October 10th. This was a round robin format and they competed against Grapevine Faith Christian School, All Saints Episcopal School of Ft Worth, and Fort Worth Christian. In round one, the Cougars took a loss to the eventual champions Grapevine Faith. The second round was a close match against All Saints Ft Worth with a score of 3-6 overall, falling short just two matches. The match could have gone either way with two of them going to tiebreakers and could have easily gone in the Cougars favor. In the third and final round, they took the win over Fort Worth Christian 7-2. The tournament was the official end to their fall team season and they will be ready to resume play in January for the spring and have big hopes for the season to follow!
