Grace Excels in Buckeye Relays
| The Grace Track teams ran in the Buckeye Relays at Gilmer on Friday. It was a running only meet with no field events due to weather on Thursday. The Boy’s finished 2 nd to Pine Tree by 5 points in the Varsity Boys and the Varsity Girls finished 4th. GOLD MEDALS:Varsity Girl’s winners were Abby Metzger in the 1600m run and Lauryn Dunn in the 3200m run. Varsity Boy’s winners were Aden Hecht in the 110m & 300m Hurdles, Grayson Gaddis in the 3200m run and the4x400m relay team of Aden Hecht, Drew Gaddis, Colton Harmon and Grayson Gaddis SILVER MEDALS:Varsity Girl’s winners were Ela Keeling in the 100m & 300m hurdles, Kayla Minick in the 1600m run,Abby Metzger in the 800m run. Varsity Boy’s winners were Grayson Gaddis in the 1600m run, DrewGaddis in the 800m run, Reed Alexander in the 200m dash and the 4x200m relay team of Sam Brown,Blake Harmon, Colton Harmon and Reed Alexander. JV Boy’s winner was Roe Gaddis in the 3200m run. BRONZE MEDALS:Varsity Girl’s winner was Kayla Minick. Varsity Boy’s winners were Blake Harmon in the 200m dash and the 4x100m relay team of Sam Brown, Blake Harmon, Colton Harmon and Reed Alexander. GETTING POINTSVarsity Girl’s were Maddie Keeling in the 200m dash and the 4x400m relay team of Maddie Keeling ElaKeeling, Kayla Minick and Abby Metzger. Varsity Boy’s were Caden Swain in the 300m Hurdles and DrewGaddis in the 1600m run. JV Boy’s were Ryder Welch in the 200m dash, Zach Callens in the 1600m run,Ayle Hecht in the 300m hurdles and the 4x400m relay team of McCade Stinson, ClaytonBock, AyleHecht and Ryder Welch.The track teams will be off for go week then return in action in the “Runnin” Rabbit relays in Atlanta on Saturday March 18.
