Grace Middle School Girls Soccer Opens Season with Determination

November 17, 2025 – Last Tuesday evening, the Grace Community School middle school girls’ soccer team opened its season with a competitive match against FC Dallas 2012. Although the Cougars fell 0–6, the contest provided valuable early-season experience and highlighted several strong individual performances.

Josie Jenz and Haley Pino led the offensive effort, consistently pressuring the FC Dallas back line and creating opportunities near goal. Defensively, Catherine Staples, Jordy Powell, Lizzie Ravanesi, and Olivia Myers anchored the back line with determination, successfully drawing multiple offsides and disrupting FC Dallas attacks. Goalkeeper Teagan Clark also delivered an impressive performance, recording a series of key saves that kept the Cougars energized throughout the match.

Despite the outcome, the Cougars demonstrated resilience and growth, and they look forward to their upcoming rematch with FC Dallas. The team is eager to continue developing its skills and chemistry as the season progresses.
