Grace Softball at Austin Hyde Invitational

Grace Community Softball hit the road this past weekend to participate in the Austin Hyde Invitational where they finished 2-2 on the weekend. Junior Isabel Buchanan had 4 hits on the weekend while Junior Macie Mathis added 5 hits with one being a big home run. Junior Kat Neal and Sophomore Sadie Arriola put on a home run clinic hitting 3 bombs a piece over the weekend. Neal had 4 hits and 6 RBI’s while Arriola added 8 hits and 11 RBI’s to the Cougars total. The Lady Cougars will play Tuesday @3pm at home against Bishop Gorman before hitting the road again Thursday to participate in the Athens Tournament. Friday the Lady Cougars will take a detour to Big Sandy to play before heading back to Athens Saturday morning. Come out and cheer these girls on as they prepare for district in a few weeks.
