Grace Volleyball Battles Back to Claim Tournament Win

September 2, 2025 – Grace Volleyball kicked off the week with a tough matchup on the road against Garrison. Despite several key players sidelined due to injuries, the Lady Cougars showed grit and determination in a hard-fought three game loss. Jaci led the team in kills, while Macy paced the offense by leading in assists.

Refusing to let the early setback define their week, the Cougars rebounded in impressive fashion at the two-day Ore City Tournament. On day one, the varsity squad went undefeated, with Elizabeth leading the way in aces and Lexi dominating at the net with key blocks.

Fueled by momentum and determination, the Lady Cougars entered day two with their sights set on the championship—and they delivered. After advancing through tough competition, Grace met Atlanta High in the final. In a thrilling 2-1 battle, the Cougars emerged victorious to claim the tournament title! Jaci once again led the team in kills, while Elizabeth stayed dominant at the service line, finishing with the highest number of aces for the Cougars.
