Grace Volleyball Rolls Past Timpson and Bishop Dunne in Strong Start to District Play

September 15, 2025 – Grace Community School’s volleyball program had an impressive week, beginning the season with key victories both at home and on the road. On Tuesday night, both varsity and junior varsity teams earned their first home wins of the season against Timpson High School.
Jaci led the offense with 10 kills, providing a strong presence at the net. Elizabeth contributed at the service line, leading the team in aces, while Parker anchored the defense with over 30 digs—an outstanding performance that helped secure the win.
Later in the week, Grace traveled to Bishop Dunne for their first district match on Thursday night, where both teams continued their momentum and walked away with important victories. Lexi and Dani led the attack with several kills each, while Jaci once again topped the team in service aces. Parker and Dani played key roles defensively, combining for an impressive number of digs that kept the Cougars in control.
Grace will host Hyde Park on Thursday, September 18, for their second district match. Between the junior varsity and varsity games, the program will recognize junior high volleyball players and celebrate their strong start to the season.
