Grace Volleyball Surges Past Gorman and Brentwood

September 29, 2025 – Last week, the Grace Volleyball team delivered two strong performances, earning sweeps over both Bishop Gorman and Brentwood Christian.
The first match took place on Tuesday night, as the team traveled to Bishop Gorman. The opening set was a challenge, with Grace falling behind 11–18. However, after a determined comeback, the team pulled off a dramatic 31–29 win. That momentum carried into the next two sets, which Grace secured to complete the sweep. Jaci, Lexi, and Elizabeth led the team in scoring, each recording seven kills. On the defensive side, Abriana had a standout night in serve receive, delivering perfect passes throughout the match—an exceptional accomplishment.
The week continued on Friday night with a home district match against Brentwood Christian, held just before the football game. This varsity-only match resulted in another sweep for Grace. Jaci once again led the team in kills, while Macy played a key role in the team’s offense, recording an impressive 26 assists.
Grace will look to carry that momentum into this Thursday evening, when they take on cross-town opponent Brook Hill in what is always a competitive and high-energy matchup.
The team’s performance this week reflects the hard work and dedication they’ve shown throughout the season. The Grace Volleyball program continues to build momentum as they push forward in district play.
