JH Volleyball Teams Sweep Brook Hill In Straight Sets

September 29, 2025 – Last week, the Lady Cougar volleyball teams showed continued growth and determination in their matchups against All Saints and Brook Hill, ultimately sweeping Brook Hill to finish out the week!

On Monday, the 7th Grade White and Blue Teams traveled to All Saints and came away with solid wins. Both teams played with consistency and teamwork. They followed up with another strong showing on Thursday against Brook Hill, earning back-to-back victories to cap off an undefeated week. The improvement in communication and execution on the court was clear.

The 8th Grade teams faced All Saints on Monday in two competitive matches. The White Team came up short but demonstrated good effort and progress in their play. Each player contributed and showed development in their skills. The Blue Team played a close, three-set match that came down to the final points. Though they narrowly lost, the match highlighted their focus and persistence.

On Thursday, the 8th Grade Blue Team responded well at Brook Hill, playing with control and purpose. They won in straight sets, showing they had learned and adjusted from earlier in the week. It was a strong finish and a good example of bouncing back from a tough loss.

Looking ahead, the teams will face All Saints again on Monday, this time at home in Taylor Gymnasium, and will compete in the Whitehouse Tournament on Saturday.
