Junior High Lady Cougars Dominate Tyler Heat, Prepare for Busy Week Ahead
December 8, 2025 – This past Thursday night, all of our junior high basketball teams traveled to Bullard to take on Tyler Heat, and the 7th-grade girls delivered an impressive performance, cruising to a 40–7 victory. The Lady Cougars’ versatile offense flowed seamlessly through multiple defensive schemes, keeping Tyler Heat off balance throughout the game.
Out of the 12 girls who saw action, 10 contributed to the scoring. Stella Ramirez led the way with 10 points, followed closely by Hannah Jenks and Kathrine Proctor, who each added 8 points. Rounding out the scoring with 2 points each were Elizabeth Russell, Claire Foreman, Rylee Hamer, Ellie Gillen, Cora Putnam, Emma Hird, and Annakate Negem.
The Lady Cougars return home this Monday to face All Saints at 4:00 p.m. before traveling to Union Grove on Saturday to compete in their tournament. It promises to be an exciting and busy week for the team.
