Lady Cougars Defeat Brighter Horizons

Both JV and Varsity volleyball squads went 1-1 last week by beating Brighter Horizons and then losing a tough match against Frisco Legacy. Leaders of the week for varsity were:

Avery Nutt: 22 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces

Kennedi Pickrell: 10 kills, 1 block, 7 digs

Gracie Jewell: 20 digs, 2 aces

Ashley Taylor: 8 kills, 4 digs

Lauren Etheredge and Reece Porter: 6 kills, 1 block

Maggie Luce: 28 assists, 11 digs

Olivia Clark: 17 assists, 6 digs

This is a big week for the volleyball program. They play Grapevine Faith on Monday, Bishop Dunne on Tuesday, and then travel to Coram Deo on Thursday. Come out and support your Lady Cougars this week as they fight for playoff positioning!!!
