Lady Cougars Defeat Coram Deo in Key District Match

The Lady Cougars only had one match last week. But they overcame twisted ankles, bruised elbows, sore shoulders, and bad backs to beat Coram Deo 25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 25-20. Avery Nutt and Maggie Luce led the way with the first double/doubles of the season. Stat leaders of the evening were:

Maggie Luce: 25 assists, 2 blocks, 18 digs, 2 aces

Lauren Etheredge: 8 kills, 2 blocks, 10 digs

Gracie Jewell: 27 digs, 7 aces

Reece Porter: 4 kills, 5 digs

Hannah Rath: 10 digs, 2 aces

Keely Bozeman: 13 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace

The win puts Grace in 2nd place for district.
