Lady Cougars Earn Fourth-Place Finish at Macy Chenevert Tournament

December 1, 2025 – The Grace Lady Cougars concluded the Macy Chenevert Tournament at Bishop Gorman with a 2–2 record, securing a fourth-place finish during the November 20–22 competition. The team opened the tournament with an impressive 59–31 victory over All Saints. Leading the effort were Macy Loftis and Eva King, each scoring 16 points. Paige Gilmore added a strong all-around performance with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jaci Whitson and Lilly Kennedy contributed 7 points apiece.

On Friday morning, the Lady Cougars earned a hard-fought 42–39 win over host TK Gorman. Scoring leaders included Gilmore with 14, King with 12, Loftis with 10, Kennedy with 4, and Whitson with 1.

In their Friday afternoon matchup, the Cougars fell 64–31 to Rains, who ultimately went on to win the tournament. Loftis led Grace with 11 points and 7 rebounds, while King added 9 points.

The tournament concluded on Saturday with a 59–36 loss to Jacksonville. Paige Gilmore delivered a standout performance with 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Loftis added 13 points.

The Lady Cougars will return to action this week with a home game against Troup on Tuesday before competing in the Brookshire Classic at All Saints over the weekend.
