Lady Cougars Enter Playoffs on a Positive Note

The JV Gray team had their last match this past Thursday against Grapevine Faith. The ladies came out victorious and with that, finished with an undefeated season! They worked amazingly hard this year and really showed what it meant to be a Grace Cougar. 

The JV Blue and Varsity teams also faced Grapevine Faith. The JV team fought valiantly but came out a few points shy of getting a victory.

The Varsity ladies started off slow, losing the first match 9-25. But they recovered and won the next three sets 25-13, 25-14, 25-12. Leaders of the night were:

Avery Nutt: 16 kills, 4 blocks, 12 digs, 1 ace

Maggie Luce: 18 assists, 1 kill, 14 digs, 1 ace

Kennedi Pickrell: 5 kills, 5 digs

Aubrey Felton: 5 kills, 1 block, 4 digs

Gracie Jewell: 11 digs, 1 ace

Keely Bozeman: 9 digs, 4 aces
