Lady Cougars Go Undefeated at Winter Soccer Classic

December 8, 2025 – The Girls Soccer team delivered an outstanding performance at the Winter Soccer Classic, finishing the weekend undefeated. The Lady Cougars secured victories in all four matches, including two notable wins over Division I opponents – Argyle Liberty Christian and Addison Trinity Christian. The program extends its appreciation to the many supporters who attended throughout the weekend.

Grace opened tournament play on Thursday with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Liberty Christian. The team returned to the field Friday morning, earning a commanding 3–0 win against The Highlands School of Irving. Later that afternoon, the Lady Cougars faced a physically demanding match against Trinity Christian but remained composed and secured another 1–0 result. The final contest of the tournament paired Grace with Cypress Christian. After taking a 1–0 lead into halftime and conceding the equalizer early in the second half, the Lady Cougars responded decisively, scoring two additional goals to claim a 3–1 victory and complete their perfect weekend.

Offensively, Addison Eli led the team with five goals over the weekend, followed by Cesa Sabillon with three. Assists were recorded by Kate Herod, Addison Eli, Harper Miller, Ella Herrin, and Caroline Burkett. The defensive unit should be given special recognition after only allowing one goal throughout the tournament.The defense was comprised of Maggie Gillen, Julia Feliciano, Pryce Bowler, Reagan Tutt, Riley Klofenstine, Kate Herod, and goalkeeper Camille Moser.

The Lady Cougars will continue their season on the road this week, facing the Lady Panthers of Bullard on Friday evening with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m.
