Lady Cougars Move to 2-1 in District Play

The Varsity volleyball group went 1-1 last week and are sitting 2-1 in district play. On Tuesday, the ladies lost to Frisco Legacy in 4. But then on Thursday, they travelled to Bishop Dunne and won in 4. The highlight of the match was Mary Claire Woodard serving 6 aces to put game 4 out of reach. Leaders of the week were:

Maggie Luce: 32 assists, 21 digs, 2 aces

Olivia Clark: 22 assists, 19 digs, 3 aces

Avery Nutt: 30 kills, 5 blocks, 7 digs

Seyi Olusola – 8 kills, 11 digs

Kennedi Pickrell – 12 kills, 14 digs

Keely Bozeman – 12 kills, 31 digs, 2 blocks, 5 aces

Gracie Jewell – 22 digs, 5 aces

MaryClaire Woodard – 20 digs, 9 aces
