Medal Momentum: Cougar Track Impresses at Arp Relays

February 28, 2026 – The Lady Cougar and Cougar track teams delivered strong performances Thursday at the Arp Tiger Relays, with the Lady Cougars capturing first place and the JV and varsity boys teams each finishing second in their divisions.
Lady Cougars
Gold medalists: Emma Goetz (3,200-meter run), Zadie Fenton (300-meter hurdles), Paige Gilmore (high jump), Sadie Arriola (discus), Brooklynn Gautier (pole vault) and the 4×400-meter relay team of Emma Goetz, Casey Goetz, Dani Bryan and Aragon Tanner.
Silver medalists: Elizabeth Rath (pole vault), Cassie Goetz (800- and 1,600-meter runs), Zadie Fenton (100-meter hurdles), Samantha Stewart (triple jump) and the 4×100-meter relay team of Samantha Stewart, Dani Bryan, Zadie Fenton and Zoe Coates.
Bronze medalists: M.J. Hanson (3,200-meter run), Sadie Arriola (shot put) and Rylee Phillips (triple jump).
Also scoring points were Samantha Stewart (200-meter dash), Cora Castle (400-meter dash), Aragon Tanner (3,200-meter run) and Malayna Cauley (shot put).
Varsity Cougars
Gold medalists: Clayton Bock (800- and 1,600-meter runs), Ayden Serrato (3,200-meter run) and Bradon Alexander (shot put).
Silver medalists: Ayle Hecht (pole vault), Christian Henry (discus), Wyatt Grimes (3,200-meter run), Will Butts (400-meter dash), Justus McQuay (200-meter dash), B.J. Olusola (110-meter hurdles), Roe Gaddis (1,600-meter run) and the 4×100-meter relay team of Parker Patterson, Bruhn Henry, Justus McQuay and Elijah Hicks.
Bronze medalists: Asher Wickliffe (1,600-meter run), B.J. Olusola (300-meter hurdles), Dylan Kress (high jump) and the 4×400-meter relay team of Truett Roseman, Luke Burks, Clayton Bock and B.J. Olusola.

Gold medalists: Bryce Myrick (110-meter hurdles), Bradon Bryan (shot put and discus) and Henry Persing (pole vault).
Silver medalists: Carson Tally (110-meter hurdles), Dax Dixon (pole vault), Deacon Flores (shot put and discus) and the 4×100-meter relay team of Carter Zimmerman, Bowen Jenkins, Ryan Kucas and Bryce Myrick.
Bronze medalists: Carson Tally (300-meter hurdles) and the 4×200-meter relay team of Roman “Pac” Hanson, Tanner Williams, Henry Persing and Ryan Lucas.
Also scoring for the JV Cougars was Bryce Myrick in the 300-meter hurdles.
