MS Boys Basketball Defeats Tyler HEAT
| The Cougars won two against the Tyler HEAT before the Christmas break. The 7th grade defeated the HEAT 30-17. Reid Habermehl led the way with 10 points. It was a team effort with six Cougars scoring in the game. The 8th grade won 50-21. Eight Cougars scored with Pack Hanson and Brayden Knox leading the way with 14 and 13 points. On Thursday all three teams lost to very good Carthage squads. The White team had their first game of the year and played very hard fighting until the end. The 7th grade lost to Carthage 35-55. Colton Ford had 3 three-pointers on his way to a team-high 16 points. The 8th grade kept it close until the 4th quarter in a 38-56 loss. Coleman Swaim lead the way for the Cougars with 19 points. |
