Outstanding Week for the JH Cross Country Team
| It was an outstanding week for the JH Cross Country Team! The team ran in the Hawkins Invitational and saw fantastic results top to bottom! Casey Goetz started off the day by winning the girls race in a dead sprint, passing the leader at the last possible second for a margin of victory of 0.3 seconds! Hazel Finley, Josie Jenz, Sadie Velten, and Riley Morgan finished in scoring position for the Lady Cougars who took 3rd overall as a team! The boys team also had a great day. Clive Johnson continues to lead the Cougars finishing at a personal best of 13:06! Isaac Jenks, Eli Owen, Lincoln Shutt, and Max Pillsbury were the scoring runners for the Cougars. Overall, we had 27 runners set personal best times! Special shoutout to McKenna Camp, Beck Durham, & Evan Serrato who each dropped over 3 minutes from their previous PR! |
