Personal Records Highlight JH Cross Country’s Day at Legacy

August 24, 2026 – The Grace Community Junior High cross country team competed at the Tyler Legacy Invitational on Saturday. Despite running in blistering heat, the Cougars showed great perseverance, and their strong preparation paid off.

Ten different runners set new personal course records, and all of the team’s new runners turned in fantastic first races. Cayleb Keel earned special recognition for the best improvement on the team, beating his previous time on the course by more than four minutes.

The Cougars will compete next Saturday at the Whitehouse Willie Wildcat CC Classic.
