Cross Country Exhibits Readiness for the Championship Season.

This past week saw the Cross Country team exhibiting their readiness for the Championship season.

Running at the Lindale Invitational on a difficult course, in a large field (28 teams) the girls claimed second place. Grace Girls were all in the top half ofall 225 runners. The girl’s team made up of Emma Goetz, Kayla Minick, Lauryn Dunn, Maddie Keeling, Maggie Jenz, and Whitney Callens will next compete on October 19 at the TAPPS 5A – District 2 Championships as they try to win the programs 5th straight district title.

The Grace Boys team this past Thursday led by an eighth-place place finish by Roe Gaddis continued their season’s improvement with several seasonal best times. The team of Gaddis, Chris Alexander, Clayton Bock, DJ Raborar, Cole Edens, Ayden Serrato, Elias Nix, and Dylan Small will also be competing at the District Championships and look to move up from three consecutive 2nd place team finishes.
